Itinerary

Day 1:Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Your 6 Days Morocco Desert Tour From Casablanca begins with a scenic drive from Casablanca along the Atlantic coast toward the capital city of Rabat. Here, you’ll visit iconic landmarks including Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V before continuing north into the Rif Mountains.

By late afternoon, arrive in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city tucked between the mountains. After checking into your traditional riad, enjoy free time to wander through the charming blue alleyways, browse local artisan shops, and relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the medina.

Day 2:Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, continue your Morocco cultural tour toward Fes with fascinating stops along the way. Explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, known for their well-preserved mosaics and historical significance.

Travel through Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, before arriving in Fes by evening. Spend the night in the heart of the medina, surrounded by centuries-old architecture, traditional souks, and authentic Moroccan culture.

Day 3:Fes – Middle Atlas – Merzouga Desert

Today’s adventure takes you from the medieval streets of Fes to the breathtaking Sahara Desert. Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests near Azrou where Barbary macaques roam freely.

As you head south, the scenery changes dramatically into palm-filled valleys and desert landscapes. Upon arrival in Merzouga, begin your Sahara experience with a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset over the desert before enjoying dinner and traditional Berber music at your desert camp beneath the stars.

Day 4:Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early to admire a spectacular Sahara sunrise before returning to Merzouga village. Continue your desert tour with a visit to the traditional market of Rissani, famous for its authentic local atmosphere and regional products.

Later, travel toward the dramatic Todgha Gorges, where towering canyon walls create one of Morocco’s most impressive natural landscapes. Continue through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its unusual rock formations and historic kasbahs, where you’ll spend the evening surrounded by stunning mountain scenery.

Day 5:Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, journey through the Valley of Roses and Skoura oasis before reaching Ouarzazate, often referred to as the gateway to the Sahara.

Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Continue across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening, where the energy of the Red City awaits.
