With your local guide, explore the narrow streets of Fes el-Bali, one of the oldest medinas in the world. Visit historic landmarks such as Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous leather tanneries. Along the way, discover local artisans crafting pottery, textiles, and handmade goods using traditional methods passed down through generations.

Day 2:Fes to Merzouga – Into the Sahara Desert

After breakfast, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture, before continuing through the cedar forests near Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.

As the scenery changes, pass through the beautiful Ziz Valley filled with palm groves and small villages. By afternoon, arrive in Merzouga where your desert adventure begins. Ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a magical sunset in the Sahara. Spend the evening at a desert camp with traditional music, local food, and a sky full of stars.

Day 3:Discover Desert Life and Local Traditions

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast at camp. Today is all about discovering the culture and daily life of the desert region.

Visit Khamlia village to listen to traditional Gnawa music and meet local families who have lived in the Sahara for generations. Learn about nomadic traditions, explore the surrounding desert landscapes, and enjoy local cuisine before returning to your accommodation in Merzouga for the evening.

Day 4:Merzouga - Dades Valley

Leave the desert behind and head toward Rissani, a historic trading town known for its lively traditional market. Continue through changing landscapes until you reach the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls create one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural sites.

Later, travel through the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations, old kasbahs, and peaceful mountain views. Spend the night surrounded by the beauty of the valley.

Day 5:Dades Valley - Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou

Today’s journey takes you through the Valley of Roses and the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert.

Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and a filming location for many movies and TV series. Continue across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing and Departure
