In Zagora, enjoy the tranquility of the desert, a beautiful sunset over the dunes, and a relaxing evening. On the second day, return via Ouarzazate, discovering its historic kasbahs and unique landscapes before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

Itinerary

Day 1:Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Valle del Draa – Zagora

Early departure from Marrakech south towards Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village with an impressive adobe kasbah (fortress) and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, continue to the Draa Valley, which is known for its palm groves and green oases. Stop in one of the local villages for lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. Continue to Zagora, which is located about 150 kilometers from Ait Ben Haddou and is known as the «gateway to the desert». Arrival in Zagora and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, you can take a walk in the desert and watch a breathtaking sunset over the dunes.

Day 2:Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, depart Zagora for Ouarzazate, a city known as the «Hollywood of Morocco» because it has been the setting for many movies and TV series. Stop on the way to visit the kasbahs of Tamnougalt and Taourirt. Continue to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
