Itinerary:

Day 1: Fez a Merzouga

Leave Fez early in the morning and head south through the Atlas Mountains. Make a stop in the town of Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco“. Continue south until you reach Midelt, where you could have lunch. Continue your way through the Ziz Gorge and the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon to enjoy a camel ride in the Sahara dunes and spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga a Tinghir

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. Have breakfast at the camp before riding back on camels to Merzouga. From Merzouga, head east through the Todra Valley to Tinghir, where you could hike through the Todra Gorge. Overnight in Tinghir.

Day 3: Tinghir a Ouarzazate

Leave Tinghir early in the morning and head west through the Dadès Valley to the fortified city of Ouarzazate.
