Itinerary:

Day 1: Ouarzazate to Zagora

Depart from Ouarzazate, the “Door of the Desert.” Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a famous Kasbah that has been the backdrop for many movies and TV shows. Continue through the Draa Valley, an area known for its beautiful landscapes, historic Kasbahs, and traditional Berber culture. The valley is home to one of the longest rivers in Morocco and is filled with date palm groves. Arrive in Zagora, a desert town that serves as a gateway to the Sahara. Overnight in a guesthouse or hotel in Zagora.

Day 2: Zagora to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, depart from Zagora and head towards Merzouga. Travel through the scenic landscapes of southern Morocco, passing through small villages and desert oases.
